Anupan Pluckpankhajee
a painter and art therapist
Anupan, whose artistic journey has been shaped by extensive travels and a deep exploration of self. While spending a significant time in Germany, Anupan developed a foundation in philosophy that later informed his art. He began his formal artistic training at a painting school in Stuttgart, rooted in the anthroposophy communities background that ultimately led him to embrace spiritual art as his primary mode of expression.
Throughout his career, Anupan has held eleven solo exhibitions including the recent exhibition 'The Melody of Light' at Anupan House Museum in 2025, showcasing his unique vision and captivating audiences. In 2019, he was invited to curate the "Art of Element & Therapy” exhibition at the prestigious Bangkok Art and Culture Center, further solidifying his reputation as a leading figure in the contemporary art scene. Beyond his visual art, Anupan is a prolific author, having penned several impactful books.
Currently, Anupan resides and works in art space, Anupan House Museum, located in Chiang Dao, Chiang Mai Province. There, amidst the serene northern landscapes of Thailand.

อนุพันธุ์ใช้เวลาพักใหญ่กับการเดินทางในเส้นทางที่ชัดเจนของตนเองที่เยอรมัน โดยผ่านการเรียนรู้ทั้งด้านปรัชญา และเข้าสู่เส้นทางศิลปะในโรงเรียนเล็กๆ จากชุมชนมนุษยปรัชญา เป็นจุดเริ่มต้น ท้ายที่สุดแล้วเส้นทางที่เขาพบ คือ ศิลปะบนเส้นทางจิตวิญญาณ
ในแง่ผลงานศิลปะเขาจัดงานแสดงเดี่ยวมาแล้วรวม 9 ครั้ง อาทิ เสียงเรียกจากฤดูกาล (2551) ผีเสื้อทั้งผองยังท่องไป (2554) โดยในปี 2562 อนุพันธุ์ได้เป็นภัณฑรักษ์รับเชิญจากหอศิลปวัฒนธรรมแห่งกรุงเทพมหานคร ในนิทรรศการศิลปะ แห่งเหตุปัจจัยและการบำบัด Art of Element & Therapy มีผลงานเขียนหนังสือตั้งแต่ปี 2542 ไล่เรียงตามลำดับ ผลึกแห่งทราย (2542) เรื่องเล่าจากภูเขาลูกเล็ก (2545) เด็กของเรากำลังจะระบายสีโลก (2552) เธอเห็นสีสันในดวงตาฉันไหม (2553) หนึ่งปีแสง (2562) และสีสันความงามแห่งชีวิต (2564) เป็นงานเขียนเล่มล่าสุด ปัจจุบันเขาใช้ชีวิตที่ ‘สตูดิโอศิลปะ ด้านใน’ อำเภอเชียงดาว จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ ทำงานศิลปะในนิทรรศการชุดล่าสุดต่อเนื่องจากผลงานล่าสุดเมื่อสามปีที่แล้ว

Within me, the world of colour is perceived as a timeless space without origin, filled with emptiness.
In my work, the ambition of creation is suffused with this same emptiness
An emptiness that allows the colour to convey their own meaning, rather than my own

ว่างจากความพยายามที่จะให้งานนั้นมีความหมายอย่างใดอย่างหนึ่ง
ให้สภาวะสีทำงานตามที่ปรากฏอยู่ตรงหน้าเท่านั้นเอง
